All started when I decided to try a year abroad in the Netherlands to complete my degree in Environmental Sciences. All I wanted was having a good experience in a foreign country and all I can say is that everything I got there was great, an incredible experience in all senses… We got very diverse subjects to learn from, taught with great interest by all the teachers, combined with a lot of practice, group working and different trips to understand better what it was all about.

All I can say is that everything I got at Saxion was great, an incredible experience in all senses…

But what I remember most from my stay is the social and international experience I had there. Sharing moments, conversations, lectures, projects, dinners, and all the organized and non-organized trips around the Netherlands made me learn and gain a unique experience. People from around the world (Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, Cameroon, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Cyprus and, of course, the Netherlands) allowed me to know different cultures, languages, ways of living, cooking or even using time!
No matter where you are studying or living, in my opinion experiences abroad are a way of broadening your knowledge and enriching yourself. This is all what I had while studying and living there for almost 9 months, apart from having a lot of friends around the world!
