I started my study on 2006. It soon became clear that I made a good decision to come to Saxion. While I had known in advance about the Dutch’s expertise in water management, which is very important in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Technology study. The education here is comprehensive, effective and more practice-oriented. The lectures provided, cover a wide range of topics, while practical exercises and case studies using the theory learned from the class help me to digest the theory and to develop my capability to analyse and solve problems.

There are plenty of opportunities to do an internship at a Dutch company, even we are not fluent in Dutch. I was working at Witteveen+Bos, one of the leading engineering consultant companies in Netherlands.  I was working on a real project with real responsibilities in my hand. My job was to create a water supply network and sanitation system in an African country.  It was a wonderful experience working in the company, learning how to apply your knowledge in practice and getting to know people and their culture. I can just recommend anyone to come to Holland.
