Deposit
All students whose housing is arranged for by Saxion are required to pay a housing deposit of 500,- Euros. This deposit is to cover damage to the property, or cleaning costs after students leave. It is also used to cover excessive heating and electricity bills. At the end of the academic year, students can receive part of the deposit or the complete deposit may be returned, after a thorough inspection of the room and the house. All students living in one house or flat will be jointly responsible for energy consumption.
Non-European students for whom Saxion is required to obtain a residence permit are charged with a deposit of 100,- Euros.
Some programmes require an extra amount for books.
