Overview
The complex nature of spatial and environmental issues demands a systematic approach to their solution or mitigation. This course provides students with a framework to develop an understanding of the techniques involved in stakeholders management and project management. The course also presents a range of management skills, to create team building, team spirit and to enhance approval of plans.
In applying the concepts of cultural awareness, stakeholders-/project management and management skills, much space is given to apply the concepts to concrete environmental and other issues. Every week students have lectures, intervision workshops, and oral presentations. Negotiation skills are trained during simulation play. Excursions are also part of the programme.
