Dirk Bekke

Dirk Bekke graduated in Applied Physics in 2001. After graduating, he worked for four years as a project engineer / leader at the engineering firm Antea Group Nederland in the field of sound. He then worked for 10 years as a program manager Research at Apollo Vredestein. He has given substance to the research department that was set up at that time. In terms of content Dirk has further developed his expertise in dynamics and acoustics. He developed the knowledge development in a team and within open (subsidized) partnerships with, among others, the University of Twente (CCAR and Stil Veilig Wegverkeer). Based on his work, he received his PhD in 2014 in dynamics and acoustics, where he also supervised many trainees and graduates. Recently, at Apollo Tires Global R & D, he was responsible for setting up a new department that is to develop modular belt technology. Since 1 March 2016 he is the new lecturer Mechatronics at Saxion.
