The students has to rig a humanoid 3D character from scratch without the help of any automation software/plugins and animate the rig in a game engine by applying an externam animation clip.  The student has to also deliver lab homework as a grading precondition. All the details of the assessment are provided in the course manual.
Test Form Werkstuk/Report/Bericht (W)

Test criteria

The student has to upload a Maya file with their character rigged and a screen recording showing the implementation in a 3D engine to Blackboard.
1.    The character was rigged in A or T pose.
2.    All homework was delivered both in the appropriate place on BB and inside the Maya scene together with the final assignment before the deadline; the files have proper names. If the files are not named properly the assessment will be automatically failed as not meeting preconditions.
3.    The student didn’t use any automation system or plugins/scripts while working on the final assignment (besides the scripts given in class).
