Visual storytelling is part of most interactive products such as games. Stories are told in form of introduction cinematics or trailers as well as within games in form of in-game cinematics. The industry role the module is preparing you for is that of a Cinematic Artist. Within varying environments, the student learns how to operate (virtual) cameras and apply cinematographic techniques in order to convey a (visual) story.

Test criteria

The assignment is:
Tell a story of 1 – 3 minutes
Medium: choice of media is free.
Examples: Video, Stop motion video, 3D animation, 2D animation, Unity Cinematic, Compositing
(combinations of multiple mediums possible).
The final product will be an animatic\previz\cinematic*.
Your story must contain at least a Character, a Goal and a Conflict
