The graduation assignment is the final assignment of this Bachelor degree programme. For 20 weeks, the student works full-time on an assignment, in a professional context that fits the specialism the student has been focusing on in this programme.   To pass the assignment, the student needs to pass all 12 CMGT competencies.

Learning goals

The newly qualified professional has a thorough knowledge of the current digital technologies for the relevant professional field. The newly qualified professional is able to conduct technical research and analysis.

The newly qualified professional is able to create value by using iterative design and prototyping, based on a (new) technology, creative idea or demand specification. The newly qualified professional displays an innovative and creative attitude when defining, designing and elaborating a commission, exploring the boundaries of what is technically and creatively feasible.

The newly qualified professional is able to repeatedly test the technical results that arise during the various stages of the designing process, and asses their value on behaviour and perception. The newly qualified professional delivers a prototype/product/service that fits the framework of the design, while also taking the user, the client and the technical context into consideration.

The newly qualified professional shows through their research activities that they have acquired a range of relevant research skills. They can select a suitable research method, dependent on the research circumstances. The newly qualified professional can develop prototypes as a communication tool within the context of implementation.
