The internship within CMGT is intended for you to experience the professional work field. You do not need to be able to do all sorts of things yet. First and foremost, the internship is intended to learn and form yourself. Companies are interested in interns who come to learn, provided they are motivated and inquisitive.

You will deepen your knowledge and skills in these four competencies. In the end, you will also be graded on these four competencies. Before you start, you formulate your own individual learning goals with these competencies in the back of your mind.

What do you want to achieve and learn during the internship period? Once you have that figured out, you and your company coach jointly decide how you will work on these learning goals. What projects or tasks would be fitting for you and your ambitions? This ensures that the learning goals are both achievable and tailored to your needs. You record this in your Internship Plan, which is to be reviewed by the company coach and submitted within the first two weeks of the internship.

Test criteria

To complete the internship, you must provide adequate justification of the internship period, which clarifies your personal development during the internship and the progress you have made in respect of the personal learning goals and the four competencies (see Chapter 2). Both the report and the company coach assessment form need to be uploaded on Blackboard before the final assessment at Saxion.
