The courses in Organisational Behaviour (OB) focus on the behaviour of people in an organisation. The course OB1 has the objective to improve student insight into the motivation of individuals and how this influences performance, job satisfaction, work stress and the absence of people in the workplace.

- The student is capable of gathering and analysing information by interviewing an individual employee about their work and the working environment
- The student is able to diagnose factors that may lead to work stress and absence
- The student is able to advise the organisation in the prevention of work-related absence
- The student is able to execute an interview with an individual on job-related issues (interview skills will be trained in Basic Communication Skills 2).

- The student approaches the subject from the perspective of an HRM advisor, being a credible activist, which means delivering results with integrity, sharing information, having effective advisory skills, building relationships with trust (being able to diagnose and help solve personal problems), providing candid observations and influencing others.
