The objective of this course is to introduce students in the field of international business, ethics and economic aspects of labour as a production factor. Students will improve their knowledge and understanding of motives for international business and trade in economic and political perspective. They will get a first impression of what it means for management and organizations to work in foreign countries, with different cultures, and how international
marketing takes place. Special attention will be paid to some aspects of macro-economics: 
particularly labour as a production factor in the economy.

Test criteria

  • Knowledge and understanding of basic theories, general principles and practical facts and figures of doing business in an international environment (written assessment, 70%)
  • Knowledge, understanding and application of ethical principles and theories (Assignment 30%)
