The objective of this course is to introduce students to the field of international business, ethics and economic aspects of employment as a production factor. Students will improve knowledge and understanding of motives for international business and trade in an economical and political perspective. They will obtain a first impression of what it means for management and organisations to work in foreign countries, with different cultures and how international marketing takes place

particularly employment as a production factor in the economy.

Learning goals

Internationalisation also has great impact on ethical behaviour. How can international business be sustainable and what are ethical guidelines for behaviour in an international business environment? To answer these questions, students will be introduced to the basic principles of ethics and morality, learning to apply ‘the ethical cycle’ to problem solving.
