This course forms an introduction of international law and in comparative law. It gives students the tools needed to enter a discussion with the legal department/legal adviser of the organisation. You will learn about employment law in general, law in your own country, other countries and to compare them.

Learning goals

You will be able to get the legal information you need:

  • to answer basic questions on employment law and social security system of your employer as well as employees in your own country.
  • to inform briefly your employer and employees on the main structure of the employment law and social security system in third countries.

You will be able to read the national and international employment developments and the legal implications and vice versa.

All on a level of a beginning international HR-officer.
