In this course we will focus on communication skills and conversation models that students will come across as an HR professional. For example in:

- a selection interview

- a performance appraisal

- a personal problems interview

- a disciplinary interview

- breaking bad-news

This course will focus on:

-Increasing students analyzing skills regarding the context of the conversation to be held by means of the PAHR-model

-Developing their communication skills and the use of conversation models

-The understanding of their role in conversations in an HR / work environment

Test Form Assessment (AS)

Test criteria

For an HR Professional the competences trained in this course are seen as a crucial success factor. Therefore successful completion of this course is conditional to proceed with the IHRM Programme (EER art. 6. All students who fail to pass PCS1 will receive a negative study advice with rejection.

The course will be evaluated by :

1) the assessment itself,  (70%) –conducted individually

2) a written personal reflection (30%) – submitted individually
