The courses in Organisational Behaviour (OB) focus on the behaviour of people within an organisation.

Organisational Behaviour can been treated on an individual, group and organisation systems level. In Organisational Behaviour 1, the individual level will be addressed in the description of psychological aspects of behaviour, such as early and contemporary theories on motivation and job satisfaction.

Theories explaining work stress and work-related absence will be discussed, as well as individual interventions in the workplace to reduce work stress.

Students form pairs to write an advisory report for the organisation, based on the outcomes of the research, using relevant theories about motivation, coping with stress, the prevention of work-related diseases and absence.
