Competence 1 Technical knowledge and analysis. Level 1 The beginning professional has at his disposal a thorough knowledge of the latest technologies in the field of raw materials, fabrics, production (knitting, weaving, nonwovens and clothing technology), finishing and printing, and of the supply chain within the international textile and fashion industry. The professional is capable of carrying out and applying technical research and analysis.

Test criteria

The student is able to name, understand and classify carpets and fabrics with multiple yarn systems (3,4,5,6 yarn systems) based on structure and production method.
The student is able to argue, compare and give a value to the properties and applications of carpets and fabrics with multiple yarn systems (depending on the binding method).
The student can analyze and classify knits on the basis of binding (RR and RL) and knitting technique.
The student is able to argue the application possibilities and lock settings of knits (depending on the weave).
