This module centres on the theory of security technologies. These include VLANs; security systems like Firewalls, IPS, IDS and VPN. We look at authentication via RADIUS and cryptography/PKI. We investigate securing networks that use mobile security and BYOD, and how we can secure IoT applications. And we cover both federated identity and cloud security.
