This course is stating the basic knowledge of Fourier analysis and Digital Signal Processing (DSP). The course has 2 hours of lectures and 2 hours of practical work. The practical work consists of MATLAB/Python exercises to get familiar with Fourier analysis signal processing, and a microprocessor filter design.

Student: • Has elementary knowledge of Fourier Analysis. • Has elementary knowledge of Digital signal processing. • Can calculate simple signal processing systems • Can read user requirements for DSP and analyse them. • Can design a DSP block diagram and dimension it. • Can handle the consequences of a DSP system in the frequency domain. • Can program a simple DSP system.
