The aim of this module is to learn more about Project management in a group of each 4 students. Group mixed: 2 from EEL and 2 from ACS. The group acts and performs as a real Engineering company. This means each group has a company name and Logo. As in a company structure each student has 2 roles, a role in the process management and a role in the product development. Each student group has to build an autonomous electrical Racing Car on a fixed miniature racing car Platform. Each student group has to deliver documentation based on V-model; Project Plan, Functional Design Document, Technical Design Document, Final Report and Student reflection. The V-model will be used more intensively as a method and Scrum as a tool. At the end of this Project the groups will Race against each other, named the Saxion E-Race. A schedule for this Race will be provided. Students will investigate the three Specializations ACS, EIE and EPA and choose solutions for the Racing Car fit their own Specialization or future direction of Engineering Fields within these three mentioned ones here before.
