Master Thesis

Master Thesis 

The Master Thesis is an individual assignment in an R&D-setting (within the industry or in a research institute) focused on applied research to develop nano- and microtechnology-based (production) processes or products. The term Master Thesis might suggest that the focus lies solely on writing a thesis, but the exit-level qualification of the student (in which he/she must show that all necessary competences have been achieved at the desired level) is defined by several elements (project plan, implementation of this plan, report and presentation). In order to take part in the Master's thesis, all modules (subject areas and projects) from the first year of study need to be satisfactorily completed.
