A lecture will cover the relevant topic each week. The immediate relevance will be discussed in workshops. Here, we will work on individual exercises as well as group exercises. In addition we will facilitate guest lectures.

Learning goals

Throughout the course (Introduction HRM 1), students will develop knowledge and understanding of:
The job content of an HR professional. The students are familiar with the field of Human Resource Management, know the tasks of an HR professional and know to what kind of HR tools an HR professional has access. Students have gained insight into business aspects that are relevant for HR professionals as well as with whom they often work together and know the role and position of an HR professional.
