Group Dynamics 1 is mainly an introduction to group dynamics, highlighting some of the important issues within groups. In Group Dynamics 2 (Year 2) the course will go into more depth with regard to group dynamics and will take the view of the 'expert' into account. Whereas Group Dynamics 1 will be mostly consist of theory and some exercises, Group Dynamics 2 will consist of some theory and mostly practical exercises.

Learning goals
This course gives students an introduction into the discipline of group dynamics. At the end of the course, students will recognise what group dynamics are, what effective teamwork is and how this should be communicated within a group. In this course, the students will also look at diversity within a group. Moreover, the course will delve into some basic communication models, which are of great importance to functioning in a team.
