A Proud Executive Board appreciates online education and also sees worries students - Message CvB

Reading time Minutes

Yesterday, Monday March 16, we started giving online education. Saxion Parttime School was the first and gave 125 lessons to more than 800 students. Today, full-time bachelor education follows, about 80% of the theoretical lessons can already be given online.

President of the Executive Board Anka Mulder is impressed: “We really went for it. But it’s surprising how fast it goes. The commitment of everyone who has a role in this is really fantastic. A big compliment for the organization. Our priority is to continue education and we are already implementing this very well. We are also working hard on offering tests and exams online. There are more snags there, so we need more time for that. But more information will follow shortly. Thank you again to everyone and stay healthy!”

The Tubantia (a regional newspaper) publishes this article about our online education.

Message to our students

Even though online education is taking shape fast, there are still many questions to be answered. Anka Mulder has a clear message to our students: “We have been receiving a lot of compliments and we thank you for that! And we are also hearing your signals and share your concerns. We are in daily deliberation with each other, other universities of applied sciences and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science to get answers. Internships and graduation, tests and resits, supervision of students, in particular our international students and vulnerable groups; it has our constant attention. As soon as there are answers, we will immediately share them with you via MySaxion and Saxion.edu. Do you have any concerns you want to share with us? Then contact your school, they will try to help you as best as possible. Help each other where possible and stay healthy! ”
