Update 6: Online teaching and research

Now that teaching is no longer possible at our locations in Enschede, Deventer and Apeldoorn until March 31, we are naturally looking at other options.These options include online education Our schools are currently developing an action plan to this end; what can be offered online and how, what is the schedule for the coming weeks? We expect to be able to report more about this to our students early next week.

So long as our buildings in Enschede, Deventer and Apeldoorn are open, research there can continue as normal. Lecturers will look into how they can work from home or on location and whether labs will remain open. More information will follow as soon as possible.

Buildings and facilities open

The exact opening times of our buildings is currently under review. The restaurants at main locations Ko Wierenga Enschede and Deventer are open from 11:30 to 13:00. Other catering facilities are closed. The coffee machines remain filled. The cleaning of the buildings continues regularly with extra attention for the filling of soap dispensers and towel rolls.

We will do our best to continue to keep you updated about any developments at Saxion.
