Tonight, 14 January, at 19:00 there will be another corona press conference. According to news reports that have already come out we can conclude that higher education can re-open step-by-step on location ‘under certain conditions’.
If the press conference confirms this then you will hear from your study programme which lessons will be held on location next week. Part of the planned classes in the final week of this term (17 - 21 January) and the exam weeks will remain online. On the one had because we don’t know what the conditions for re-opening will be and on the other hand because some teachers remain in quarantine. However, we will do our best whenever possible and allowed, to provide education on location.
After the press conference of 14 January, we will inform you again about what has been decided with regards to higher education and what this means for you.
Term 2 exams and practical education will take place on location
Exams may take place on location. This means that term 2 exams that were already planned to take place on location can go ahead. Practical classes may also take place on location. If you are doing an international programme it may be the case that your practical classes have been moved online, due to the fact that many fellow students are still abroad.
It goes without saying that there are places available on location for students who have a difficult home situation.
