Come to the Saxion Well-Being Week 2022

Saxion is holding a Well-Being Week at the end of November. During the extensive programme we are going to be zooming in on the following three aspects: mental, physical and social well-being. Are you coming too?

A lot is expected and demanded of you as a student. This can lead to you forgetting to look after to your physical and mental health. As a result you may encounter problems during your study. This is why it is important that you take good care of your health, so you can have an enjoyable time as a student.

The importance of well-being

Well-being is more than wellness and mental health. It’s about your surroundings, your habits, the balance between your work/study and your private life. In addition to internal factors, many external factors influence your well-being.
How can you best take care of your own well-being? Well-being has physical and emotional aspects. How do you look after your body, keep physically fit and be consistent in eating healthily? And how’s life treating you? How are your relationships with your family and friends and how do you express your emotions? All these things affect the big picture of your well-being. 
To help you relax and become more in tune with yourself, we want to invite you to take part in the Well-Being Week activities. 

Programme

There are a variety of activities of a creative, sporting and spiritual nature. 
Join in with yoga, make a mug and decorate it or learn to write a diary. In addition to personal aspects, you can also socialise during the Well-Being Week. Take part in a Speed Friendship Round or enjoy a delicious ‘Sharing is Caring’ themed dinner. Pole dancing? You can do that on Tuesday evening!
From meditation to yoga, lectures about presenting along with challenges for you and others to overcome: it’s all there for you to take part in during the Saxion Well-Being Week 2022. 

When?

The event is being held on 29 November, 30 November and 1 December 2022. The Saxion Well-Being Week is being organised by students for students.
