Christa Boer appointed Chairperson of Saxion's Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board has appointed Christa Boer as Chairperson with effect from 1 September 2026. She will succeed the current Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, Karl Dittrich, who has held this position since 2018. Christa Boer has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2022.

Christa Boer has been a member of Saxion's Supervisory Board since 2022. She is Dean of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Amsterdam and an experienced educational executive with a scientific background.
In addition to Christa Boer, Saxion's Supervisory Board consists of Karl Dittrich (chairperson until 1 September 2026), Benno Siegert, Henrike Branderhorst and Carmelo Messina. The appointment of Christa Boer will create a job vacancy for a new member of the Supervisory Board as of 1 September. Recruitment of a new member, who will also serve as intended Chairperson of the Education & Research Committee, will commence shortly.
