Video: Student Engagement Day 2026
Yesterday, Saxion was all about student engagement. During the very first Student Engagement Day, students had the opportunity to share knowledge, make new connections and work on their personal and professional development. Check the video for a Student Engagement Market recap!
We visited the Student Engagement Market, where students could connect with each other and discover the many ways to get involved in the Saxion community. From student representation bodies (the Central Participation Council, school councils and programme committees) to student and study association boards, student teams, the student pool and much more! Each of these groups makes its own unique contribution to the Saxion community.
Karin Verschoor, member of Saxion's Executive Board, officially launched the Student Engagement Award. This award recognises and celebrates the initiatives, ideas, achievements and events of active and engaged students, showing Saxion's appreciation for their contributions.
In short, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a difference at Saxion. Is there something that suits you?
