The INTRO has come to a close! We hope you had an incredible first week at your study program and at Saxion. It's no doubt been full of new experiences and hopefully lots of new friendships. When will the 2023 Saxion Introduction Week be held?
- This year’s INTRO happens from Monday 28 August to Thursday 31 August.
- The first day(s) are dedicated to the compulsory programme offered by your study programme for you and your new fellow students.
- In addition to this, you will be able to participate in general activities for all new students in the various Saxion cities. You need to register for this part of the INTRO.
How does it work?
The start of the INTRO is an introduction to your study programme. This is called the School Days. There, you will be introduced to your cohort, your fellow students and your lecturers. This part of the INTRO is compulsory, as you will receive important information concerning your study programme!
Where can I find the programme for my degree programme?
You will find this information (soon) when using the Starters' Information search bar, or on the page of your study programme. The degree programme-specific part of the INTRO generally takes place on Mondays and/or Tuesdays*. There is no need to register for this part of the INTRO!
* A collective programme is offered in Apeldoorn.
Costs
The cost of participation in the INTRO is 25 euros. For sleeping, there is an additional cost of 15 euros per night. The total cost of the INTRO is 25 euros for participation + 45 euros for three nights of accommodation. The time of your life for only 70 euros!
Sign up and check the program
A general INTRO is organised for all new students in each city. You need to sign up to participate in this part of the intro. You can sign up below, on the location pages of Apeldoorn, Deventer and Enschede (REGISTRATION IS CLOSED). There you will also find the program of your location.
We provide limited accommodation for the nights, so be quick to secure your spot!

- Deventer: Camping de Worp, alongside the river IJssel
- Enschede: Pathmoshal
