Experienced businesspeople and aspiring entrepreneurs have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with professionals from other countries in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Singapore, the USA and Canada.

More about the programme

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is an exchange programme that offers aspiring entrepreneurs and people who want to set up a business the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs who run small businesses in other participating countries.

The exchange of experiences occurs within the framework of stays with experienced entrepreneurs during which the new entrepreneurs can acquire the skills necessary to run a small or medium-sized enterprise. Hosts benefit from a new perspective on their business and acquire the opportunity to cooperate with foreign partners or to discover new markets.

The stay is partially subsidised by the European Union.

Who can participate?

  • New entrepreneurs (NE) from the Netherlands who are seriously planning to set up their own business or who have done so within the last three years and want to benefit from practical training in a small or medium-sized enterprise in any other participating country.
  • Experienced Entrepreneurs (HE) who own or manage as partners a small or medium-sized enterprise in the Netherlands and want to benefit from the new ideas that a new and motivated entrepreneur can bring to their company.
