HAN Automotive's Via Nova project focuses on the usability of data from cars. How accurate is this data and what can it all be used for?

Data from vehicles

We want to relate the usability of the data to its accuracy by means of a number of practical use cases. By establishing this relationship, it will also become clear what quality requirements can be set for future use scenarios. Initially, we will work with undemanding scenarios to set up a framework. This will then be expanded to more complex situations, the existing framework will then help to set appropriate quality requirements for the data for those situations. Via Nova will be able to provide an answer to how useful data from vehicles is to correctly estimate current and future traffic situations.
