Test criteria

The assessment consists of:

1. Homework which is properly uploaded to blackboard. The homework documents your learning and
concept art creation process. While the homework is not being graded it is a precondition. That means
that all homework has to be finished before the grading of the final digital painting.
2. Final digital painting of an environment, based on your briefing, moodboard and visual research,
after a chosen topic. The topics are revealed in lecture 1. The slides will be made available on
blackboard after the lecture.
The environment contains at least 1 architectural object in 2-point perspective, and at least 3 ways
to create depth are applied (see slides lesson 1). There is a clear light source. Visual elements
(colour, composition, light) are applied to enhance the mood. Process is clearly visible in the
unmerged layers.
A short justification of choices and the connection to theory is included in the upload (either as text in
blackboard or separate text file).
