In this course, students will learn how to write in a well-structured, efficient and coherent manner, and how to find, select and apply information from external sources. This will contribute to the quality of your writing tasks and, consequently, to their qualities as an HR professional.

Test criteria

The course will be evaluated by the final assignment (report) Information Skills:
• Understand the importance of using information from external sources in a text
• Find relevant information using different search engines, databases and search techniques
• Select the output of a search with regard to relevance and reliability of the information found
• Understand the importance of referencing Quote and paraphrase according to the APA style
• Present tables and figures according to the APA-style
• Design a reference list according to APA style Written communication: Choose a topic and write a report
• Write an executive summary
• Write well-structured texts (coherence & cohesion):
• Write clearly and appropriately (style)
• Write error-free English
