During the Strategical HRM Lab, you will work to design innovative and effective HR practices that address current developments related to business environments such as globalisation, technology and new working relationships. How can a company adapt its HR practices and prepare its HR professionals for the future? You will give advice to organisations on how to do just that!

The Strategical HRM Lab is a lab that is equal to ten credits and runs for two terms. Depending on the type of assignment, there are usually two phases and types of products that are worked on: an analysis and a concrete professional product (intervention/workshop/policy note).

Although the emphases of the three focus areas differ, the following themes are always included: These are also this lab’s module indicators. 1. Analysis of the internal and external business environment (term). 1); 2 Translation of the analysis of the business environment into strategic and/or tactical priorities for HR practices (qrt. 1); 3 Determination of the role and position of the HR professional within the context of these HR practices (qrt. 1); 4. Design of an appropriate HR intervention or HR policy (term) 2); 5. Evaluation of the designed HR intervention and policy (qrt. 2).
