During the young professional semester, students will work on a professional product for an external client for an entire semester. They will have to come up with a solution for a client issue, while taking various stakeholders into account. This solution will then be turned into a professional product, which can take various forms depending on what the professional field requires. Students therefore have the freedom to be creative and innovative.

Learning goals

In this semester, students will develop as young professionals and independently design a professional product that solves a strategic management issue for a client in the hospitality line of business. The product can take various forms, depending on the client's requirements. Students will learn to devise appropriate solutions, based on the knowledge acquired in this module.They will also work on their professional product in the workplace, and will be partially assessed on professionalism in the workplace during this assignment.They will then conclude the semester with a final interview. During the final interview, they will be required to prove they have the ability to critically assess the professional field and their own professional development.
