Only for students Cursus: Exchange: Textile Engineering & Management Enschede (50007469).
In today's fast-paced and globalizing society, it is no longer enough to just have basic knowledge. New developments follow each other faster and faster, companies compete and win through relevance to market relevance. As such, it is essential to understand the market and technological developments in the market. Keep an eye out to keep innovating In this quartile you are encouraged to learn to innovate at the heart of your field: textile materials. Method With Gijs van Wulfen's FORTH innovation method, we go on an expedition: into the unknown because innovation means 'doing things very differently' or 'really doing different things'. But if you don't know what that is yet, how do you find out? The steps we go through are to leave, discover, develop, reflect and return. In this quartile, we'll cover a light version of this process. You are looking for the latest innovations and developments for your product, where the main goal is to successfully renew your product at material level! Roles: Each role is linked to a theme. You can read more about this below.

Test criteria

The choice of innovations is well-founded from the customer's perspective. The future plans, risks and implementation possibilities are elaborated on a solid level. The student shows a proactive and professional attitude and has a critical view on the work done. The construction techniques applied in the prototype are suitable for the product and / or the chosen material and give a good result. The creative solution in the construction of the prototype is poorly represented. The material of the prototype is not entirely suitable for the chosen product, but is still functional for the chosen product. Technical justification and stop-motion film are informative. User feedback is not sufficiently implemented. The message is partly clear, the process partly supports the story. The quality of the images and the written content are partly consistent.
