In the first ten weeks of the project (about 1½ days a week) we explore the assignment, gather information on the client, define a project plan (action plan), define what 'finished' means here, perform preliminary research, and possibly build an initial prototype.  At the end of this term, the group submits a proper action plan and a research document containing all their findings.
Based on the preliminary research and findings, the implementation will be realised. At this stage, you will be working about 3½ days a week on the project. At the end you submit your end product, including documentation on the system and the process. You present your work and demonstrate the system you built. In addition, students within each team evaluate each other’s work by filling in a peer-review form.
