The Data Acquisition module will give you insight into data and the process of data acquisition, and how data is transformed into information.
We start with the theory of data acquisition. Topics like ETL, data warehouses, relational and non-relation databases, data classification and information architecture will be covered. By working on a data acquisition case, you also learn how to apply the theory and tools in practice. And finally, you create a complete data acquisition solution that extracts data from different sources and stores it in a data warehouse.
