The objective for this module is to provide you with basic knowledge on IT infrastructure. This includes computer hardware, operating systems, storage, networks and virtualisation. As well as an introduction to network security.
Besides theoretical knowledge, the module also has a clear practical component to give you hands-on experience.
To set-up, analyse and advice an organisation on the best IT system, you need basic understanding of technical infrastructures. This is necessary as students who choose to specialise in Software and Infrastructure learn to design, build and implement solutions that are related to IT infrastructure.
