In this project, students will work in groups of three, for a client, to design a sustainable, commercially viable product, process or application that is related to digitising textile production and/or sustainable textiles. The students devise the basic principles of a concept, based on an analysis of the assignment and sustainability considerations. They do so while factoring in at least one of the following: social, economic, intercultural, ethical and aesthetic factors. The students use the concept to design a definitive, commercially viable product, process or application. They are able to coordinate the project processes and meet deadlines. They are able to reflect on their and other team member's contributions to this project, and are able to learn from this for future projects.
