The student uses the academic and technical literature to write a perspective paper (1500 - 2000 words) on a development in the textile industry within an international context (i.e. reshoring production). The student analyses this development and describes how it will affect the international textile industry from a commercial and organisational perspective.

The student will need to read a variety of academic literature (articles, papers, etc.) to write this paper. The student knows how to search for relevant literature. In week 6, the student will write a first draft. The draft will be reviewed by the teachers and two other students. The students will follow the critique guidelines when reviewing the paper. Each student will present their findings to the other students.  They will use the feedback to improve their paper. The final paper will need to be completed and uploaded in week 9. In week 10, each student will pitch their paper and defend it while engaging in a discussion with the lecturer responsible for the module and the research lecturer.
