We will provide the student with short descriptions of the upcoming projects that have been planned for term 3. The student will select one project based on these descriptions, and write a project proposal that follows the time frame planned for the paper in term 2. The student will have to contact their contact person at the company and discuss the details of the project so far. The student will then use the information they have to define the problem and formulate a research question as well as the project objectives. This will help the student select the right research methods to help them achieve the project objectives and answer the research questions. The budget, staff and plan will largely be determined on the basis of the research methods. The student might have to base some of their decisions on assumptions if the required information is not known or provided by the company. Ultimately, the project proposal should convince the reader (lecturers/company staff members) to provide funding for the project.

The student will be assessed, based on the final version of the project proposal (80%) and the pitch (20%).
