Astronaut André Kuipers kicks off International Project Week at Saxion

On Monday 4 February 2019 the International Project Week at Saxion starts. Nearly 1,100 students of several technical and economic studies will work together in interdisciplinary teams with international and high school students, solving dozens of cases from local businesses over a time span of a week.

The astronaut Dr. André Kuipers will officially open the Project Week with an inspiring kick-off in het Wilminktheater in Enschede.

This year 110 international students from Germany, Switzerland, Poland and Schotland will take part. As well as 30 Dutch ‘5-havo’ students and a couple of German high school students.

On Friday February 8th (from 12.00-14.30) the participants will present their results during the ‘Project Week Fair’. A professional jury of representatives from top businesses will then pick the winning solution.

Project Week Fair at the main building of Saxion: M.H. Tromplaan, 8 feb. 12.00 -14.30.
