Netherlands ranked #2 country in Europe to study abroad

Reading time Minutes

The Netherlands has been named the #2 study abroad country in Europe and #7 in the world, according to new rankings released by higher education search portal, Educations.com.

The 2019 rankings are based on a survey of over 20,000 students from around the world who shared their priorities and concerns when choosing where to study abroad. The top factors that students voiced were used as a quantitative metric, and data from various external industry reports were used to score and rank 61 countries.

Fredrik Högemark, the CIO of educations.com, says:

International students have special considerations when choosing an ideal university and program. The Netherlands ranked third in the world for teaching quality and with the Dutch government working hard to offer graduate job opportunities, studying abroad in the Netherlands is a great choice.
