Update 13: Postponement of binding study advice
Read about the postponement of binding study advice, the postponement of the application deadline for new students and the cancelling of the National Student Survey (NSE).
Updated on March 20 at 23.00.
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science has advised universities of applied sciences to postpone giving binding study advice (BSA) until the following academic year. Saxion will act in accordance with this advice (in dutch). In this way we hope to help students who may experience delays due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Saxion remains committed to providing education and examination online as much as possible in order that our students do not fall behind.
Postponement of the application deadline for new students
The registration date for an academic programme at Saxion and other universities of applied sciences will be moved from 1 May to 1 June, 2020. This gives final exam candidates more time to make their choice of study. To be able to help them as much as possible, we will organise online open days on 17, 18 and 19 April.
National Student Survey (NSE) cancelled
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science together with educational organisations has decided to cancel the NSE, allowing all energy to be focused on organising education.
