Safe software
Now that many people are working from home, we see that a lot of our suppliers are offering software (almost) free or charge. We understand that this is tempting. However, we would like to urge you not to use this for Saxion devices. The security of this software has not been validated by Saxion. And of course we see the risk that you will still need a license to continue using the software. This comes at a cost and in addition, Saxion's ICT department does not support this software. Saxion's guidelines are:
-
Use Blackboard for educational purposes
- Use Teams to work from home and chat to students
- If you have an urgent need to work with other systems as an employee, please contact ICT&O via your ICT&O contact person.

Phishing mail
Don't just click on links in emails or social media messages you receive. Make sure the sender is reliable. Also send messages to this sender until you are sure the sender is genuine. By responding, this sender knows you have an active account and they will send you more messages. Read more tips to recognize phishing mail here.
