Benno Siegert new member of Saxion Supervisory Board
Benno Siegert has been appointed member of Saxion’s Supervisory Board. He is Director of People and Organisation at the VIGO Group (youth care, forensic care and mental-health care in South and Mid-Netherlands) and prior to that held eight different management posts at Coöperatie VGZ (healthcare cooperative).

Benno is a director with extensive experience in the field of human resources (HR). He obtained his LLM in Law (Dutch Law), is a Master of Advanced Labour Studies / Human Resources and is also a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Services Industries. Benno began his career as HR Manager at Achmea and afterwards took on the role of HR Director of Business Markets at KPN.
Benno also has experience in being a regulatory supervisor since 2014. Including being vice-chair of the accountability body Stichting Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds Zorgverzekeraars (foundation for sectoral pension funds health insurance). Since 2021 he has been member of the Supervisory Board KleinGeluk where he is chairperson of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Quality and Safety Committee.
Benno: “As resident of Apeldoorn I know just how important Saxion is to the region. I’m looking forward to getting to know Saxion better. I also hope that with my HRM background and experience, I will make a valuable contribution to Saxion and to the role of the Supervisory Board.”
Benno succeeds Frans Duynstee who left the Supervisory Board on 1 January 2023. Alongside Benno Siegert, the Supervisory Board consists of chairperson Karl Dittrich, Karin Sluis, Paul Koch and Christa Boer.
