Everything you need to know about sleeping during INTRO-week
The summer holidays are in full swing and that means the INTRO is approaching. Three days full of parties, new friends, fun games and memorable moments. And yes, you can also stay overnight. In fact, you will want to. Here you can read about overnight stays, costs, locations and the essentials you need to bring with you.
Reserve somewhere to sleep (before all options are booked)
Staying overnight during the INTRO is not only super fun, but also very convenient. No hassle with travelling home late or getting up way too early. Saxion arranges comfortable places to sleep in Apeldoorn, Deventer and Enschede where you can spend the night together with other students. Don't wait too long to reserve a spot as places are limited.
How does it work?
You pay €25 per night, including breakfast. You book the overnight stay as a complete package and your luggage will be brought to your sleeping location on the first day. Nice and easy.

Sleeping on location
In Apeldoorn you can sleep at the Stayokay on Asselsestraat 330, just outside the city centre. No bike? You can rent a public transport bicycle for €4.65 per 24 hours. You can stay two nights at this location. Including your INTRO ticket, this adds up to a total amount of €100.
What to take with you?
Pyjamas, towels, toiletries, clothes for several days, slippers, power bank, charger, water bottle and earplugs.
In Deventer you can sleep at the city campsite next to the river IJssel, at Worp 12. A unique place, which you can reach by ferry (which runs until 2 am). You can stay at this location for three nights. Including your INTRO ticket, this adds up to a total amount of €125.

Baggage tip
There’s nothing more annoying than losing your bags. So here's a tip: label your belongings with your name and phone number. Make sure that loose items, such as your sleeping bag or pillow, are securely attached to your bag. This way you prevent something from getting lost during transport.
