Saxion lecturer/Researcher Appointed Chair of Prestigious SEFI Special Interest Group (SIG)
Saxion University of Applied Sciences proudly announces that Dr. Asif Khan, lecturer/researcher in Life Sciences, Engineering & Design (LED), has been appointed by SEFI Board of Directors Chair of SIG on Entrepreneurship in Engineering Education within the European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI): Europe’s largest network of institutions, educators, and industry leaders dedicated to advancing engineering education.
SEFI is a leading international organisation that connects over 300 universities, companies, and professional associations across Europe and beyond. Its mission is to foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence in engineering education, shaping policies and practices that influence the future of technology-driven societies. Through conferences, research initiatives, and special interest groups, SEFI provides a platform for global knowledge exchange and thought leadership.
Dr. Khan’s appointment as Chair reflects international recognition of his expertise, leadership, and contributions to shaping the future of engineering education. In addition to his new role, Dr. Khan is already a founding and active member of SIG on Digital Learning within SEFI, further strengthening Saxion’s presence in this influential community.
