The Project between Saxion University and his partners is designed to bring students from both Universities together to enhance intercultural learning and engagement. Every Saxion student will be connected to a student from an international partner and together they will play this Trading Simulation Game.
National public transport strike on Tuesday 28 May: lessons continue as normal, exams will be replaced
A national public transport strike has been announced for Tuesday 28 May. This means there will be no trains, buses, trams or metros in a large part of the country on that day. Teaching at Saxion will continue as scheduled. However exams will be replaced.
Resource-efficient soft exoskeleton for people with walking impediments
A lot of people have lower limb mobility impairments, but there are few wearable technolo-gies to enable them to walk normally while performing tasks of daily living. XoSoft, a Euro-pean funded project, has brought together partners from all over Europe to develop a flexi-ble, lightweight and resource-efficient soft exoskeleton prototype.

Saxion staff donate to Sheltersuit
By relinquishing their Christmas hampers, Saxion staff have raised money for Sheltersuit, a charity that designs and distributes multifunctional coats to homeless people. On Tuesday afternoon, Anka Mulder, President of the Executive Board of Saxion, presented a cheque to the value of € 6,094.20 to a delighted Bas Timmer from the charitable organisation.
Creative Technology Students kick off EPIC project in Spain
Last week, as part of the Erasmus+ project EPIC, five Saxion students from the School of Creative Technology travelled to Barcelona. During the project planning week, they became acquainted with their fellow international students, with whom they will work on assignments for different companies over the next few months.
