Astronaut André Kuipers kicks off International Project Week at Saxion
On Monday 4 February 2019 the International Project Week at Saxion starts. Nearly 1,100 students of several technical and economic studies will work together in interdisciplinary teams with international and high school students, solving dozens of cases from local businesses over a time span of a week.
Blockchain is going to make our lives safer and simpler
"Blockchain is actually all around us already. We use the technology in our daily lives, without realising it,” explains Jan Veuger. On 1 February he will start as professor in Blockchain at the new Saxion research group, which, together with three schools, will develop research and teaching in this new technology. The multidisciplinary combination of three schools and a research group is a novel development at Saxion.
